This Ain't Wild; Only Sad
I generally find the self-proclaimed altruistic, do-gooders who label themselves as Christians as merely attention-seeking predators with a true nature more comparable to that of wolves than of Christians. I mean if you can help folks, it is generally good to do so and to keep your mouth shut about it. However, if you are offering assistance with contempt, veiled hatred, expectations of a grand return, or are seeking accolades from your pack, the fetid, mangy dogs you run with - maybe you should not help. Maybe something within you is broken. I am sick of people who harbor veiled contempt for the downtrodden, throw them a few bones once every Blue Moon and then proclaim themselves to be good Christian folks! That's not how it works! Now more than ever, we need to come together as children of the light. We need to do and provide for those who can't. We need to extend our hands and open our hearts.
